The procurement concerns a main contract for infrastructure for Flatholmen port area in Ålesund.

The Port Authority has entered into a rent contract with a tenderer that will receive, handle, and store all types of goods. This includes, amongst other things, a lot of container handling services. The lessee is to construct a building of approx. 12,000m2, and the accompanying outside area. Tenders are now wanted for this outside area.

The outside area can be roughly split into 3 different parts, of which the eastern part is where containers will be connected to electricity for cooling. It is also in this area where there are the most installations in the ground. Further west we have another area with little installations in the ground. This is an area for storing empty containers. The latter area is not part of the container area, but will be exclusively used for parking and access to the administration part of the building in the area.

The project will be implemented as a main contract in accordance with NS 8406.
