The object of the procurement is a Railwheel Tractor excavator for urban rail traffic maintenance tasks in accordance with Annex 1 'Technical description' and Annex 3 'Technical requirements'.

City Transport acquires a railwheel tractor excavator for the maintenance tasks of the tramway line (Helsinki/Espoo). A railwheel tractor must be able to work on a track width of 1000 mm and can be used on open track and fixed track sections. More detailed tasks of a railwheel tractor are described in more detail in Appendix 1 Technical description, and technical requirements in Appendix 3 Technical requirements.

The contracting entity organises a competitive bidding process for the object of procurement, based on which one supplier is selected to supply the Railwheel Tractor Excavator for the use of Urban Transport.
