The subject of this award procedure is the conclusion of framework agreements without justification of an acceptance obligation to cover the procurement requirements of the beneficiaries of a wide variety of brand-new notebooks, including optional maintenance, services and additional contractual services and, if necessary, accessories. "Notebooks (school and administration)" (lot 1) and "Notebooks 2-in-1" (lot 2) are advertised. In addition to the schools and school bodies, KIV in Thuringia, their co-shareholders, the districts, cities, municipalities, administrative communities and special-purpose associations in the state of Thuringia, including their legally independent and dependent institutions and associations and other forms of cooperation, are entitled to purchase.

The subject of the tender for lot 1 comprises the procurement of portable computers (notebooks) in various product classes and product versions as well as other additional contractual services for schools, school bodies and administrations. It is intended to conclude framework agreements with up to 3 economic operators in lot 1. Within lot 1, it is mandatory to specify a manufacturer across all product categories.

Over the standard term of the framework agreement (see Section II.2.7 of the notice), the client estimates a total value of approx. EUR 20,000,000.00 excluding VAT. The estimated total value is based on the experience of recent years including estimated additional requirements, however without any extension rights (see II.2.11) of the announcement).

The subject of the tender for lot 2 includes the procurement of portable computers (notebooks) with Windows operating systems as well as other additional contractual services. It is intended to conclude framework agreements with up to 3 economic operators in lot 2.

Over the standard term of the framework agreement (see Section II.2.7 of the notice), the client estimates a total value of approx. 10,000,000.00 EUR excluding VAT. The estimated total value is based on the experience of recent years including estimated additional requirements, however without any extension rights (see II.2.11) of the announcement).
