This contract is to cover the delivery of integrated contraception and sexual health (iCaSH) clinical laboratory diagnostic service to locations across the East of England.
The contract will identify a provider who shall provide a comprehensive clinical laboratory diagnostic service within an overall system of resilient pathology service provision.
Suppliers must first register their interest and complete the selection questionnaire associated with the lot below:
Lot 1: Core Clinical Pathology;
Lot 2: Digital Pathology;
Lot 3: Total (Core Clinical Pathology and Digital Pathology Combined).
Lot 1: core clinical pathology
The contract will identify a provider who shall provide a comprehensive clinical laboratory diagnostic service within an overall system of resilient pathology service provision that must, but not limited to, provide:
— meet the service needs of the designated contraception and sexual health services,
— act as an enabler for the delivery of clinical services across iCaSH,
— improve overall user and patient experience and optimise the patient journey, and
— improve clinical outcomes and streamline clinical pathways.
Clinical laboratory diagnostic services including:
(i) haematology;
(ii) biochemistry;
(iii) virology;
(iv) microbiology including bacteriology;
(v) immunology;
(vi) cytology with HPV testing where indicated, as per National Cervical Screening Programme guidelines;
(vii) histopathology.
Lot 2: digital pathology
The contract will identify a provider who shall provide an online patient facing platform ordering of sexual health screening kits (Express Test Home STI Kit) for delivery to chosen destination service provision that must, but not limited to, provide:
— meet the service needs of the designated contraception and sexual health services,
— act as an enabler for the delivery of clinical services across iCaSH,
— improve overall user and patient experience and optimise the patient journey, and
— improve clinical outcomes and streamline clinical pathways.
