The tender concerns service traffic operated in the savonlinna urban area's local transport area from 1.2.2023 to 31.5.2025. Service traffic is handled in accordance with an agreement based on gross compensation.

Service transport is public transport open to all, but it takes special account of the elderly and people with reduced mobility. The service is handled by two low-floor cars.

Service cars PALI 1 and PALI 2 operate on weekdays from Monday to Friday in the Savonlinna local traffic area (urban area), except on public holidays.

Rides are ordered directly from the car. Both cars have their own schedule. Cars do not have a fixed route, but only pick-up stops, which aim to stick to the schedule. If necessary, the car picks up the customer at the door and takes the customer as close to the service point in the traffic area as possible. The driver accepts the ride orders, if necessary, helps the customer to get into the car, get out of the car and carry the merchandise.

Individual pupils of basic education are also travelling on board, which the logistics service unit notifies the transport operator of. The ride-hailing students reported by the logistics service unit will ride free of charge.

One provider will be selected to manage the service traffic.
