For the production of small series and prototypes, a 3D printer is required that can process commercially available injection molded granules. These injection molding granules include highly filled, fiber-reinforced thermoplastics, standard injection molding granules as well as CIM and MIM injection molding granules as used in powder injection molding. The tendered plant is intended to produce thermoplastic finished parts as well as green parts from highly filled metal and ceramic compounds by means of additive manufacturing. The system will also offer the option of using a 3D scanner to create a high-resolution digital twin of the printed object in real time.
