Bergen Vann KF operates the municipal water and sewage facilities in Bergen and Bjørnarfjorden Municipalities. The organisation must ensure good and satisfactory water supply and good and environmentally correct sewage treatment. The business has approx. 157 man-labour years and turnover for approx. NOK 330 000 000 per annum.

Bergen Vann KF is a municipal company in Bergen Municipality. Bergen Vann KF is currently localised in Spelhaugen 22 and at numerous water treatment and sewage treatment facilities. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to carry out supplier audits.

ØyVAR AS is the leading food industry and environmental company in Øygarden municipality. ØyVAR supplies drinking water, takes care of the waste water, empties private sludge separators and operates the water and sewage plants for Øygarden Municipality. In addition, the company collects waste and facilitates the reuse of this. The entire activity is financed through water, sewage and sanitation fees.

The procurement concerns purchase of precipitants.

The contracting authorities in this procurement are Bergen Vann KF and ØyVAR AS.

Bergen Vann KF will enter into a framework agreement for the purchase and supply of precipitants to five water treatment plants and five sewage treatment plants in Bergen Municipality and Bjørnarfjorden Municipality (part 1-5).

Øyvar AS will enter into a framework agreement for the purchase and supply of precipitants to three water treatment plants in Øygarden Municipality (part 6).

The competition consists of six sub-competitions:

Part 1: Bergen Vann KF (Kismul VBA, Sædalen VBA, Os VBA)

— Polyaluminium chloride with Al-content 9.0 %

— Polyaluminium hydroxide chloride silicate with Al-content 7.5 %

Part 2: Bergen Vann KF (Knappen RA)

— Iron chloride with Fe-content 13.8 %

Or

Iron chloride sulphate with Fe-content 11.6 %

Part 3: Bergen Vann KF (Knappen RA)

— Polyaluminium chloride with Al-content 9.0 %

Part 4: Bergen Vann KF (Ytre Sandviken RA, Holen RA)

Iron chloride with Fe-content 13.8 %

Or

— Iron chloride sulphate with Fe-content 11.6 %

Part 5: Bergen Vann (Jordalsvatnet VBA, Svartediket VBA)

— Iron chloride sulphate with Fe-content 11.6 %

Part 6: Øyvar AS (Fjæreide VBA, Bildøyvatnet VBA, Blomvåg VBA)

— Iron chloride sulphate with Fe-content 11.6 %

Or

Iron chloride sulphate with Fe-content 11.6 % and hydrochloric acid 15 %

Concentrations of the chemicals other than those stated may be offered.
