Description:
Heat pump circuit and test stand - PR523869 - 3840 - W

PR523869 - 3840 - W Heat pump circuit and test stand

The detailed tender documents will be shared only after the bidding competition has been completed and a non-disclosure agreement has been signed. Essentially, two circuits are to be implemented by the contractor:

1. A heat pump test stand, which provides the source capacity (up to approx. 800 kW, 70 - 120 °C, perspectively up to 150 °C) to the test unit (a high temperature heat pump) and discharges the sink capacity (approx. 1 MW, 140 - 200 °C, perspectively up to 250 °C). If possible, thermal oil should not be used here, instead pressurized water is to be preferred. The circuit required for this, including measurement technology, is to be designed by the contractor, set up on the IEG site in Bochum and put into operation.

2. A heat pump circuit with water as refrigerant. On the source side, the heat pump will be able to process 80 - 120 °C and on the sink side it will be able to deliver a temperature level of 140 - 200 °C. The maximum output of the heat pump will be up to approx. 750 kW, partial load down to approx. 20 % should be possible. The compressor with motor as well as a design of the circuit with proposed components for heat exchanger, valves, measuring technique and additional aggregates will be provided by the client, but can still be modified in the course of discussions. Piping layout/design on a machine frame shall be done by the contractor. The heat pump circuit is to be integrated into the heat pump test stand as a test unit and communicate with it.
