The National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds K. d. Ö. R., the German Medical Association and the German Hospital Association intend to conclude a contract for the takeover and operation of a central transplant registry.

The National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds, the German Medical Association and the German Hospital Association (TPG) are mandated by §§ 15a to h TPG to operate a central transplant registry (Tx register). The Tx registry will be managed by the Tx registry, and an independent trust office will also be established.

The Tx registry is a central data repository that collects, stores and verifies the transplant medical data (medical user data) together with the pseudonyms created by the trust office, fills the registry database and transmits data from it. The object of the contract is the secure and error-free takeover of the Tx registry, including ongoing operations.

The exact scope of tasks and the requirements for the service are set out in the attached specifications and the contract, which are part of the tender documents.

The clients already point out that the future contractual partner must be free of instructions in the execution of the order, must be organizationally and economically independent and must act free of conflicts of interest.

A pre-formulated declaration with the exact content and requirements for the independence of the contracting party can be found in Form 7 and must be submitted with the application to participate.

If the candidate is unable to make a declaration of independence or is only able to do so to a limited extent, he or she must explain what the dependency, influence or conflict of interest is and explain what measures or arrangements he will take to meet the independence requirements of Form 7.

The contract begins on the day after the BMG's approval is published in the Federal Gazette and has a term of five years. Clients have the option of extending the contract once for a further two years in agreement with the private health insurance association. The contract ends after seven years at the latest, without the need for termination.
