We are seeking a supplier to convert our existing Rule Book documents (PDF derived from Quark) into structured DITA XML topics and maps, which supports a single source approach for writing and publishing to multiple formats.

The Rule Book (GE/RT8000) and other National Operations Publications are documents that contain direct instructions for railway staff. It is held in printed copy by over 100 000 people from a number of companies across the rail industry. It comprises a set of modules and handbooks which contain direct instructions for railway staff. It sets out the operational rules for application on the GB mainline railway.

We are seeking a supplier to convert our existing Rule Book documents (PDF derived from Quark) into structured DITA XML topics and maps, which supports a single source approach for writing and publishing to multiple formats. Converted content will then be migrated into our content management system (RMDB) to support the ability to update and publish information via RMDB in a variety of formats. Required publishing scenarios:
