Velferdsetaten (the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Organisation) on behalf of Helseetaten (the Health Department) will procure quarantine and emergency preparedness hotels. The procurement is implemented as part of the municipality's handling of the Corona virus pandemic. The purpose of the procurement is to establish a quarantine and emergency preparedness hotel for persons who are subject to requirements concerning arrival quarantine and persons in quarantine or isolation that do not have their own residence.

The assignment will initially cover:

• emergency need for overnight accommodation for persons in quarantine and isolation of an evening, night and weekend,

• quarantine places for persons in arrival quarantine in relation to new Circular concerning quarantine hotels, with effect from 9 November 2020,

• need arising from capacity challenges at the city's own measures for quarantine and isolation places.
