Guildford Borough Council is seeking tenders from experienced service providers to provide an annual safety check and service of gas and electric central heating and hot water systems in approx. 2200 domestic dwellings within the contract area. This includes domestic gas appliances, mains pressure unvented hot water cylinders, battery operated smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, domestic air source heat pump systems, solar thermal installations and inspection of domestic cold water storage tanks. Carry out all responsive day-to-day, planned, reactive and emergency maintenance including emergency repairs as required and where necessary replacement of appliances and systems. Operate an out-of-hours emergency call-out/repair service. The duration of the contract is 5 years.
