The objective of this procurement is to perform follow-up evaluations and get professional advice related to the coordinated housing, area and transport planning (SBATP) in the urban areas included in the urban growth contracts scheme. The procurement will include reports that will strengthen the professional basis for sustainable area development in urban growth contracts and for municipal and regional plans.

Also, experience from projects implemented by the municipalities and counties after awarding of funds from Kommunal- og moderniseringsdepartementets [the Ministry of local Government and Modernisation's] support scheme for sustainable area development, is assumed to demonstrate a basis for further professional development. In this procurement, it will be possible to implement concrete development assignments for prioritised topics based on the need demonstrated here.
