Description:
Sewage Water Heat Pump/MuEva Steam Turbine (SHP/MST) — Lot 1 Heat Pump System

Lot 1 of the heat pump system announced here includes the planning, delivery, construction and commissioning of a heat pump system with a total output >60 MW as part of the higher-level Sewage Water Heat Pump project in Berlin.

In addition to the aforementioned lot 1, the issuing body intends to award the execution in 4 further partial lots:

• Lot 2 plant engineering (for setting up electrical and control technology as well as further process technology)

• Lot 3 construction technology (execution planning, all structural engineering measures for the construction of the machine house and the one-way building)

• Lot 4 sewage pressure pipeline (to supply the heat pump with purified wastewater)

• Lot 5 steam turbine generator set (including auxiliary systems)

The client intends to build a heat pump plant at the Reuter West site in Berlin.

The entire procurement project is divided into 5 main lots:

Lot 1: heat pump system

Lot 2: Plant Engineering (separate TED release)

Lot 3: Construction Technology (separate TED release)

Lot 4: sewage pressure pipelines (separate TED release)

Lot 5: Steam turbine generator set (separate TED release)

This publication applies exclusively to lot 1 “heat pump system”. The lot includes the planning, delivery, construction and commissioning of a heat pump system to generate low-temperature heat from purified wastewater with a temperature between 10°C and 30°C and for feeding heat into the district heating system with a temperature between 80°C and at least 95°C. each with a heat output of at least 30 MW and a maximum of two modules. The heat pump system's work equipment (s) are classified in safety classes A1 or A2L according to DIN EN 378-1 Annex E, whereby the greenhouse gas potential (GWP100) is less than 10. The heat pump system includes, among other things, the heat pump modules, the associated electrical and control technology, wiring and pipe cleaning system, as well as the necessary piping.

The (total) output is divided into the partial output “heat pump system” and the partial output “long-term maintenance contract” (hereinafter referred to as “LTSA”). However, it is common practice to jointly evaluate the partial output “heat pump system” and “LTSA” when considering the cost-effectiveness of such services. Following this, the overall cost-effectiveness of an offer via “heat pump technology” and “LTSA” is evaluated in the quotation process when deciding on the most economical solution. Therefore, it would be pointless to split more lots. In order to map the respective partial performances, a contract for the “heat pump system” and a separate contract for the “LTSA” are to be concluded — customary in the industry. More information will be found in the procurement documents.

As part of the “LTSA”, the issuer will respond times:

- on-site within 24 hours

- Remote support: 24 hours/7 days/365 days predict

and demand a short-term purchase of spare parts.
