The object of this assignment is to carry out an exploratory study into the routing of ADR traffic on the Flemish motorway network. More specifically, differentiating, depending on the time of day, from access for (certain categories of) dangerous transports (ADR) to certain road sections in function of safety. To this end, the assignment includes the determination of time windows, for each road section of the Flemish motorways, within which the traffic conditions are such that it allows to a greater or lesser extent of certain
categories of ADR transports in terms of safety would be accountable. The assignment also includes carrying out a quantitative risk analysis (QRA) for the (existing and/or
designed) tunnels on these routes. The ultimate goal is to create a wish route network with a time-differentiated routing of the different categories of ADR traffic.
