SLU intends to enter into a framework agreement with a supplier with the task of handling and disposing of chemical, biological, cutting/stinging, infectious, low radioactive, genetically modified, electronic and other special waste.

Campus Ultuna in Uppsala accounts for the majority of SLU's waste, but Alnarp and Umeå also generate such a volume that disposal needs to take place with some regularity. At other locations, very little waste is generated and orders are placed if necessary.

The ceiling volume of the framework agreement is SEK 10 million.
