Isos currently offers a fixed and dispersed alarm monitoring and response service to a number of customers comprising approximately 2 000 connections throughout North East England. The Isos geography is spread throughout the region with services delivered throughout Newcastle and the surrounding boroughs, as far South as Stockton upon Tees, West to Cumbria and North to Berwick upon Tweed. Some Isos customers live in remote areas of Northumberland which is an important consideration of this tender process.

At present, as a result of the recent amalgamation of member organisations, Isos Housing Ltd receives dispersed alarm monitoring and response services from three separate providers resulting in differing service for customers based on their locations.

Isos is seeking to appoint a sole provider of alarm monitoring and response services to ensure high quality, consistent delivery and management of these services.

Isos' has a preferred supplier of alarm equipment, with the majority of equipment in our customers' homes supplied by Tynetec Ltd. Bidders should be capable of interfacing with Isos nominated equipment to deliver the very best services for our Customers.

It is anticipated that following this tender process, Isos will appoint a monitoring and response agreement for a period of three years, with an option to extend for a further 2 years, subject to contract. Whilst Isos understands that response services are unlikely to be delivered directly, bidders will be required to demonstrate their capability in managing subcontractors effectively to deliver a consistent, high quality service.
