Trustwide Detained Transport Services.

Avon and Wiltshire Partnership NHS Trust wishes to invite expressions of interest from experienced providers for the provision of our detained transport service.

We require a provider of services who can provide a comprehensive, high-quality, responsive, confidential, cost effective and local detained transport service for children, adults and older adults to a geographically dispersed Trust. To include provision of a range of conveyances for service users detained or likely to be detained under the Mental Health Act, including admission, transfers, court, conveyance associated with section 135 of the MHA and admission from place of safety, treatments and interventions. There will also be a requirement to provide services for out of area journeys.

Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership provides services across Bristol, South Glos, North Somerset, Wiltshire, Swindon and Bath and North East Somerset.

Prospective bidders will be required to demonstrate how they will work in partnership.
