Malvik municipality invites tenderers to participate in the contest for 'E5 Electrical installation contract’ for Saksvik Sewage Treatment Plant.

Malvik Municipality will demolish the existing sewage treatment plant in Saksvik and construct a new plant on the same site, Rønningsvegen 31. Some preparatory work for this must be carried out in 2021. At the same time, a new sewage pump station will be established at Vikhammer, as well as temporary cleaning in Saksvik. The preparatory work must be coordinated with these other contracts. When all of this is in place, the demolition of the existing building, ground work, and construction work for the new sewage treatment plant will start.
Contract E1 preparatory work is the first contract to be procured, the others will be procured consecutively.
The project will be carried out with divided contracts, with start up at different dates throughout the construction period of approx. 2.5 years. The provisional plan for execution of the different work is shown in the table below.

A contract shall be entered into in accordance with NS8405 for the electrical installation works. The following works are included in this contract (E5):
- Electrical installation work for process electric operation
- Frequency converters
- Cabling and connection for electric power and control for process plants
- Cabling and control for HVAC and sanitary technical systems - Electrical installation work for building technical operation:
- Earthing system
- Ducts
- Electrical distributions
- Lighting
- Fire/burglary alarm systems
- ICT cabling and outlets
The planned initial date for the main installation is March 2023, and completion in August 2023.
The tender contest shall be implemented as an open tender contest. This means that all interested tenderers are invited to submit tenders. Negotiations are not allowed. Cf. the Public Procurement §19-6 (1) and (3).
