During the floods of July 2021, many buildings belonging to the municipal administration of Verviers were degraded. At present some remain unused because waiting to be restored.
PROGRAMMING AND LOCATION:
The mission concerns existing buildings belonging to the municipality of Verviers to be renovated and/or restored to health following the damage (direct and/or indirect) they suffered during the floods of July 2021. The administration is taking advantage of this current market to renovate non-disaster housing, allowing citizens to be rehoused.
Below are listed the buildings that are the subject of this contract.
- Property n°1: Rue Saint-Bernard, 59 to 4800 LAMBERMONT (Presbytery) - not affected

The mission concerns the renovation of the building, allowing to maintain the function of church factory on the ground floor and a single-family dwelling on the upper floors. The property must include two separate entrances to ensure the privacy and tranquility of users.

The mission concerns the renovation of the entire building, allowing to accommodate a function of single-family home.
The property intersects with the Saint Lambert chapel building. The development project must offer a clear distinction between the two functions.

The mission concerns the renovation of the entire building, allowing to maintain the function of commerce on the ground floor and apartments on the upper floors.

COMPETENCES :
The complete mission of study and monitoring of the execution includes all the ordinary services incumbent on the architect.
It includes, in a traditional way, complete studies and follow-up of the work until final acceptance, but also, beforehand:
- The sanitary analysis of buildings, following the floods of July 2021;
- The survey of the buildings and surroundings, as well as any survey necessary for the smooth running of the file.
The services of the project authors will vary depending on the building:
- Preliminary project / Final project;
- Health safety coordination;
- Where appropriate, studies in special techniques;
- If necessary, stability studies;
- If necessary, treatment of buildings against moisture problems;
- Award of the works contract;
- Control of execution;
- Provisional acceptance;
- Final count;
- Final acceptance.
The project author must propose an offer including all of the following skills:
- Architecture
- Stability engineering;
- Health Safety Coordinator for the project and implementation phases;
- Survey of existing buildings and site.
