The subject of the order is the selection and delivery for 12 months of polyeelectrolyte in the powder state for dewatering of fermented sludge at the Hajdów Wastewater Treatment Plant in Lublin.
The object of the contract includes the selection and delivery of powdered polyelectrolyte for dewatering digestate sludge.
Sludge Properties:
hydration 95,5 — 97.3% (average 96.8%),
organic parts content 55 — 62,5% (average 57,8%),
quantity on average 820 m3/day,
PH 6.5 - 7.5
The fermented dewatered sediment is in the primary system on two decanting centrifuges from Gea Westphalia, UCF type 466-00-35 with maximum capacity up to 35 m3/h each. In the basic layout, two centrifuges use one flocculant station with a maximum capacity of 4,000 litres per hour. Number of centrifuges installed in Mechanical Dewatering Station 4 pcs. Number of flocculant stations 2 pcs. Flocculant stations are powered by water supply.
The devices work in continuous motion.
Expected quantity of fermented sludge during the period of the contract: approx. 300 000 m3/year.
Projected quantity to deliver:
Polyelectrolyte powder state 110,000 kg/12 months.
DESCRIPTION OF THE TECHNICAL SAMPLE
The Contractor shall set the deadline for the execution of tests for the selection of polyelectrolyte with Mr Paweł Górski — Z-ca Head of the Faculty of Operation, tel. 81 531 26 32 or 789 756 954 at 7-15 hours from Monday to Friday. The deadline for the execution of the trial is determined by email. Mail to set deadline: pawel.gorski@mpwik.lublin.pl
Technical tests for selecting polyelectrolyte will begin 30 days before the tender deadline with the possibility of extending the time limit for the execution of tests in the case of a large number of submitted contractors. Proposals for the completion of the technical test for selection of polyelectrolyte can begin to be submitted from the date of the announcement of the order. The availability of the date of execution of the polyelectrolyte selection test shall be decided by the order of applications. Due to the manner and timing of the test of samples, it is determined that the last technical test of the selection of polyelectrolyte will take place 10 days prior to the date of submission of tenders. The Contracting Authority allows the Contractor to carry out laboratory tests of fermented sludge originating from the Hajdów wastewater treatment plant prior to the technical test. The test can be performed in a laboratory located in the treatment plant.
The Contractor shall make available to the Contracting Authority a chemical (polyelectrolyte) for a technical sample in the quantity necessary to carry out the sample, however, not more than 200 kg (active substance) in a big-bag packaging or bags (10-25 kg) together with a safety data sheet.
The duration of the technical sample the Ordering Party shall be 8 hours. In the event of a device failure preventing the execution of the sample, the Ordering Party may increase the duration of the sample and change the sampling hours provided that the minimum time intervals between hourly sampling are maintained (minimum 30 minutes). In this case, the applicable rules on the set parameters of the device do not change.
The Contracting Authority shall make available to the Contractor for a period of three and a half hours (from 7°°) prior to the start of the trial of the drainage device to optimize the process.
All technical tests will be carried out with the transmission of not less than 26.3 m3/h of fermented sludge on one centrifuge indicated by the Contracting Authority.
The Purchaser reserves that in the event of equipment failure during the test, the test will be continued on another centrifuge, which will be connected to the flocculant station to which the centrifuge on which the test was started was connected.
Due to the limited number of characters that can be entered into the contents of the notice, the other information regarding the description of the order is included in point. IV.7 SWZ.
