Since the city of Lokeren does not have its own Christmas lights, the Christmas lights will be outsourced as a follow-up to the previous award, with the intention of renting the Christmas lights over a new period of three years.
An agreement is concluded with the lessor of the materials for 3 years (Christmas period 2023, Christmas period 2024 and Christmas period 2025). Such a rental agreement means that the supplier hangs, dismantles, stores and maintains the Christmas lights himself. It is also responsible for direct intervention in the event of malfunction or failure during the period of use.
