The complexity of planning railway operations is constantly increasing due to growing traffic and service requests.

The operational simulation tool used today has been in use at SBB for over 10 years. Due to the long service life and the rapid development in the IT environment, SBB has decided to put the existing functionality out to tender enriched with new requirements in the changed operating environment.

Preferably, we are looking for cloud-based standard software. The microscopic railway operation simulation software should be parameterizable / configurable according to the needs of SBB. Adapting the software code to the needs of SBB should be avoided as far as possible. Specific features for SBB should be able to be integrated via clearly defined APIs.
