Specialist planning for HLS technology in accordance with Part 4, Section 2 HOAI, work phases 1-9 for the extension following the existing building at the Dillwiesenschule, Ehringshausen
The district committee of the Lahn-Dill district, represented by the Building Department - Schools, is responsible for schools according to the Hessian School Act. In this role, he plans to expand the Dillwiesenschule in Ehringshausen.
Currently, about 210 students are taught at the Dillwiesenschule in 11 classes, one of which is an intensive class, in grades 1-4. The primary school has 11 classrooms, a computer room, an auditorium and two small differentiation rooms at its disposal.
The two-storey school building was built in 1958 with a 2-storey classroom wing with a total of 4 classrooms, an adjoining staircase, a single-storey administration building and an adjoining toilet building, and was extended by additional classrooms in 1961 and 1969. In 2011, the building was thoroughly renovated, upgraded in terms of fire protection and supplemented by extensions for the auditorium and supervision as part of the economic stimulus programme II of the federal and state governments.
In the meantime, the need for special rooms (workroom, music room, teaching kitchen or art room) has increased at the primary school and the primary school is developing into a three-class system due to growing numbers of pupils, which requires additional classrooms and space for lunchtime and afternoon care. Meals will continue to be taken at the adjacent cafeteria of the Johannes Gutenberg School.
The property planning office Hundt + Swoboda, Hüttenberg, which has already been commissioned by the building department - schools of the Lahn-Dill district, has led the building planning into service phase 2 and prepared planning documents as well as a preliminary cost estimate. Excerpts of the documents will be attached with this document for information.
Construction of the expansion is scheduled to begin in mid-2025.
