The object of the contract is the supply of periodicals published by Italian and foreign publishing houses of an eminently legal, economic, bio-medical, engineering and related management services at the Library System of the University of Brescia, for the period 01/01/2024 –31/12/2028.

Pursuant to art. 51 of Legislative Decree no. 50 of 18 April 2016 and subsequent amendments, the contract is divided into the following lots:

Lot 1 supply of periodicals published by Italian publishing houses of an eminently legal, economic, bio-medical, engineering nature, also on non-paper support, for the University libraries;

Lot 2 supply of periodicals published by foreign publishing houses of an eminently legal, economic, bio-medical, engineering nature, also on non-paper support, for the University libraries;

The object of the contract is the supply of periodicals published by Italian publishing houses of an eminently legal, economic, bio-medical, engineering nature, also on paper support, for the University libraries, for the period 01/01/2024 –31/12/2028.

The Supplier must enter into subscription contracts with individual publishers and distributors on behalf of the University of Brescia and for the use of the Ordering Unit, also providing for the payment of subscription fees according to the methods and within the terms agreed with the publishers, or established by them, in order to guarantee the regularity and continuity of the supply.

Single service for lot 1, pursuant to art. 48 of Legislative Decree no. 50 of 18 April 2016 and subsequent amendments, is the supply of periodicals published by Italian publishing houses.

In consideration of the nature and specific characteristics of the object of this contract, the Director of the Execution of the contract, if necessary and within the limits of current legislation, will order the early execution of the services necessary to guarantee the effective start of the supply from 01/01/2024.The Supplier must carry out any fulfillment even after the expiry of the contract ensuring that the Ordering Unit receives all the files relating to the years signed during the execution of the contract, even if published before the start of or after the expiry of the contract, without payment of any additional price.

Access to the online version, where required, of the files relating to the years signed during the execution of the contract must also be guaranteed, even if published before the start of or after the expiry of the contract, without payment of any additional price.

For each Lot, there are no charges for interference, pursuant to art. 26 paragraph 5 of Legislative Decree no. 81/2008 and determination of the Authority for the Supervision of Public Works, Services and Supplies Contracts no. 3 of 05/03/2008

The University, within sixty days of the award, will request, pursuant to art. 73 of Legislative Decree no. 50 of 18 April 2016 and subsequent amendments and of the Ministerial Decree of 2 December 2016 concerning "Definition of the general guidelines for the publication of notices and calls for tenders, referred to in articles 70, 71 and 98 of Legislative Decree no. 50 of 18 April 2016", to the economic operator awarded the reimbursement of the expenses incurred by the University for the publications of this announcement and amounting to an amount of € 540 including VAT for Lot 1
