Description:
Call for requests to participate - Automated packaging and inspection system for the individual repackaging of medicines

See II.2.4

Individual medication preparation (IMV) is described in the Royal Decree 24-9-2012 as the procedure whereby one or more medicines are removed from their primary packaging and then, if necessary, combined in a single closed packaging for individual administration. These packages are intended for an individual patient at a specific time.

The pharmacy of the Regional Hospital Tienen (RZT) wishes to purchase a new Drug Distribution System (GDS) for this. This is understood to mean: a packaging machine (robot) for the individual repackaging of personal and time-bound medicines as well as a medicine inspection system for checking and possibly correcting the medicine bags with a roll-up system.

The entire installation is supplied by the contractor, placed, made ready for operation and put into service, including the validation of the calibrated cassettes.

The necessary links with all individual devices are carried out successfully and are functional upon delivery, ie both the hardware links and the software links with the existing software package of the hospital pharmacy RZT.
