The University Service Center Baden-Württemberg intends to conclude a framework agreement with a term of three years from the award of the contract for the expansion/consolidation of an existing virtualization environment on the basis of an EVB-IT system supply contract. For this purpose, components and systems including ready-to-use installation are procured in accordance with the specified specification according to the service description.
Extend/consolidate an existing virtualization environment with
- 12 identical server systems
- 2 identical storage systems in the cluster as well as optional expansion by additional shelves/modules
- optional extension of 2 existing storage systems "Eternus-DX200 S4" with cluster functionality
- 4 SAN switches
- 2 backup systems, each with a server and a tape system
incl. ready-to-use installation and instruction.
Within three years of the award of the contract, further server systems can be procured as required in accordance with the agreement according to the service description. In the case of a subsequent purchase, the contract period is not extended.
