As part of the BMVI funding guideline "Digitization of municipal transport systems" of the "Clean Air Immediate Program 2017 to 2020", the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Neckar wants to equip municipalities with dynamic passenger information indicators (DFI) on arrival at MA, HD and LU. The goal is to implement the DFI indicators at "smaller" stops in the project region. Depending on the meaning of the stops and their local conditions, different types of indicators are provided:

- "Full DFI";

- "DFI-Light";

- "Electronic timetable notice".

This measure serves to promote the switch to public transport and at the same time to increase the attractiveness of public transport.

Installation of full dynamic passenger information displays at selected locations.

Installation of full-fledged battery-operated passenger information displays at selected locations.
