The project envisages demolishing the western wing of the building, which was built in 1963 and 1969, and replacing it with a new building. The L-shaped extension, together with the remaining north and east wings, forms a new complex in the form of a rectangular structure with a spacious inner courtyard.

The order is awarded subject to the credit resolution of the Cantonal Parliament.

New flat roof approx. 2,700 m2, flat roof technical centre approx. 320 m2, fall protection, glass installations and SHEV openings incl. lightning protection.
