It is the intention of Derry City and Strabane District Council, as client, to appoint a multi-disciplinary integrated consultant team (ICT) to assist Council's Capital Development Section in the design, tendering, administration and supervision of the construction of a new Brandywell Sports Centre, with associated natural grass and synthetic turf pitches.
The project has evolved in response to Derry City Council's Strategic Outdoor Playing Pitch Development Plan as prioritised by the Waterside Neighbourhood Board.
The project includes the following main capital elements:
— 1 No full size sand mattress natural turf multi-use pitch suitable for soccer, rugby and Gaelic games.
— 1 No full size synthetic soccer pitch including provision for ball stop fencing, flood lighting etc.
— 4 to 6 No synthetic tennis courts including provision for fencing, flood lighting etc.
— 3 to 4 No synthetic cricket wickets and practice net facilities including provision for fencing, flood lighting etc.

Derry City and Strabane District Council (The Employer) seeks to appoint an Economic Operator to provide the services of an Integrated Consultancy Team (ICT) to undertake the detailed design and manage the construction of the new sports facilities at Clondermot.
Working in close consultation with the Employer, the ICT will be required to provide a design that meets the strategic aims and objectives of the Council and to manage the construction of the sports facilities at Clondermot within quality, budget and programme requirements.
