The subject of the tendered service (subproject 2) is the investigation of IT security properties of smart radiator thermostats. The aim is to identify risks for consumers when using these products. In addition, the findings from the vulnerability analyses will be used to develop recommendations for action for other products from the smart home segment in order to establish security-by-design in product development and security-by-default in the products.
