The target of the procurement is the Franco-Finnish School and the Finnish-Russian School (hereinafter referred to as the Contracting Entity), which are subordinate to the Finnish National Agency for Education, a brokerage service for textbooks and other books. In addition to textbooks, novels, children's and young people's books, as well as other books and e-books can be purchased in the tendering process. All books purchased through the service are acquired as an order-delivery process with your delivery addresses specified by customers. At the time of publication of the invitation to tender, the delivery addresses of the contracting entities involved in the tendering process are located in Helsinki.

The service to be acquired is described in more detail in Annex 1 “Description of the Object of Acquisition”.

The objective of the procurement procedure is to select a contractor who is responsible for the implementation of the intermediary service in a comprehensive manner.

The contracting entity shall invite tenders in accordance with the published contract notice and this invitation to tender and its annexes.

The aim is for the agreement to enter into force on 1.10.2023.

The draft contract attached to the invitation to tender (Appendix 7) sets out in more detail the terms and conditions under which the Tenderer will provide the Service specified in this invitation to tender and its appendices to the Contracting Entity.

On the basis of the procurement procedure, the contracting entity selects one (1) tenderer as the supplier of the procurement.

The object of the procurement is the contracting entity's textbook and other book brokerage service. In addition to textbooks, novels, children's and young people's books, as well as other books and e-books can be purchased in the tendering process. All books purchased through the service are acquired as an order-delivery process with your delivery addresses specified by customers. At the time of publication of the invitation to tender, the delivery addresses of the contracting entities involved in the tendering process are located in Helsinki.

A brokerage service means that the customer mainly places orders using the supplier's electronic order channel.

The object of the procurement does not include the so-called .... gray literature, which refers to non-commercial organizations, etc. published literature and book making (publishing), book printing and not a service for intermediary of periodicals.

The tenderer must attach to his tender a supplemented "Price form" (Appendix 2) and a "References" form (Appendix 3), as well as "Subcontractors" (Appendix 4), if the tenderer uses subcontractors.
