Kommunegården is currently the workplace for approx. 700 employees in the administration for Bærum municipality and it is the place where many of the municipality's residents ‘meet’ the municipality's services. Kommunegården requires technical renovation and, at the same time, the functionality and design shall be assessed and adapted to suit the main activities in the building. A decision has been made to implement activity based office workplaces as a concept, at the same time that the area use/employees are reduced. Bærum municipality requires a workplace consultant for this work, who shall be the sub-project manager for the ‘future office workplace and way of working’ and who shall be responsible for preparing a room and function description for both the temporary building and the ‘new’ Kommunegård. The work shall be carried out in close cooperation with the project manager for the tenant project. The project will run from autumn 2017 to when the ‘new’ Kommunegård is moved into, stipulated to 2021.
