According to the Passenger Transport Act, the municipality of Wald-Michelbach intends to carry out call taxi traffic in accordance with a new concept under the Sector Ordinance (SekTVO) pursuant to Section 14 (1) of the SekTVO in accordance with Section 100 (1) No. 1 and Article 102 (4) GWB. January 1, 2022.

This is exclusively a regular service in accordance with Section 42 of the German Personenforkungsgesetz (PBefG) in conjunction with Section 2 (6) PBefG. Permission by the Darmstadt Regional Council is valid until 25 February 2029.

The current call taxi concept is operated under line numbers 6990 and 6997. The line numbers for the new concept may be changed prior to operation. The contractor shall be informed of the final line numbers in good time before the start of operation.

The call taxi is used to access the districts of Wald-Michelbach. The conditions of the PBefG apply. Call taxi services shall be carried out as required by motor vehicles with a capacity of at least 7 passenger seats, subject to prior telephone or electronic request by the passenger at the published operating hours. It is intended for the use of vehicles with conventional drive (diesel/petrol).

The call taxi service of basic services of general interest is carried out as required during the following time window:

— Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
