The tender includes two new path connections between Favrholm and Hillerød City, as well as a path connection between New Hospital North Zealand and Favrholm Station. The three paths (Stationsstien, Salpetermosestien and Pøle Åstien) will all connect to the path network around the new Hospital Nordsjælland. The Pøle Å path and the Salpetermose path are paths/roads in terrain, while the section of the Station Path is a new footbridge through a bog area with a soft bottom. All three paths will be central connections in Hillerød and Favrholm with many daily users.

The contract is located in the Capital Region of Denmark and Hillerød Municipality.
The timetable for the station path is the start of the station path in January 2023, while the start of the Pøle Å path and the Salpetermose path is in spring 2023. Excluded from this is the shorter section on the Salpetermose trail, where start-up is to take place in the spring of 2024. Delivery of the contract must be made no later than 30 April 2024, however, borrowed areas outside protected nature on plot 1u Favrholm must be returned no later than 30 November 2023 and the section of the Salpetermose trail must be handed over no later than 17 June 2024.

As an extraordinary precaution, the client has chosen to minimize the contractor's risk of price increases and take on the extra risk of price increases, as prices are indexed from the day of the offer according to the index fixed. Established indices are set out in the draft contract.
If the price of the winning bid exceeds the expected contract amount specified in the tender notice, it is a prerequisite for entering into a contract that Hillerød Municipality and the Capital Region of Denmark are granted additional funds for the project.
In relation to section 49(2) of the Danish Procurement Act, the Contracting Entity has chosen not to tender separate lots on the basis of economic and market considerations. Specifically, the contracting entity has assessed that it is not the commercially best solution or recommendable to separate and divide the task into separate lots. The contracting entity has also assessed that coherence in the function of the paths makes it obvious that the works are carried out in one contract.
