Introduction
Kumla Municipality is a growing municipality. The number of inhabitants amounts to just over 22,000 at present and is centrally located in Närke. The vision is to become 25,000 inhabitants by 2025. The municipality has about 2200 people employed. In Kumla municipality, there are six administrations that together are responsible for most of the public services to the municipality's residents. Each administration is governed by a committee appointed by the city council. The officials in the administrations, in turn, make sure to implement the board's political decisions. In order to best serve both the administrations and the taxpayers, the municipality of Kumla buys goods and services correctly and financially in order to get the best possible benefit from the funds available. Kumla municipality's total amounted to approximately SEK 1.9 billion in 2021 and the municipality buys goods and services for just over SEK 500 million annually.
Procurement items
This procurement relates to framework agreements on the transport of hot food and food, between cooking kitchens and serving kitchens within school preschools and elderly care, for successive call-offs according to Kumla municipality's needs. The assignment also includes return transports of transport wagons, cabinets and boxes. The goal is to sign an agreement with a supplier.
Volume
Kumla municipality's volume is approximately SEK 1,300,000 per year. The stated volume is approximate and is based on the previous year's purchase statistics and should not be considered binding. The ceiling volume for the procurement is SEK 5,400,000.
In Kumla municipality, it will be delivered from 6 cooking kitchens. During the contract period, there may be additions, disappearing delivery points, which may affect the volumes and driving tours.
The procurement includes daily transports of approximately 2,000 portions of prepared hot food, as well as chilled/frozen food and other goods. The procurement also includes the transport of returned goods from the receiving kitchen to the cooking kitchen.
Transport should take place weekdays, for schools about 180 days per year, for preschools and leisure about 220 days per year. For driving in elderly care, all weekends during the year apply. In the appendix with tour schedule, the routes with stops to be priced are indicated.
The food must be transported in special transport wagons and boxes provided by the municipality. The municipality reserves the right that specified volumes and stops may change due to organizational changes or other changes.
