Phase 1. Collection of already available data
Phase 2. Model study part 1, verification of the groundwater model (residues, discharge, model behavior, etc.) in which the effect of extraction is investigated on the basis of the already available data. In addition, the points for improvement of the model and the further additional research are described.
Phase 3. Collection of additional soil and hydrological data from both the deep and shallow subsurface. The degree of research stems from the results of phase 2 and the mapping strategy.
Phase 4. Model research part 2, improvement and verification of the groundwater model in which the data and insights from phase 3 are processed. In this phase, the effect calculations of the extraction(s) are also carried out.
Phase 5. Establishing causal relationship, the degree of damage and issuing advice.
