The contract concerns the design and production of five groups of choppers and their systems for the CSPEC instrument within the framework of the ESS project.

The CSPEC instrument will be installed on a neutron beam.

The CSPEC choppers system consists of five disc choppers with their motorization and their control system.

The services include a fixed part as well as an estimated part on preliminary estimate.

The benefits of the flat-rate part include in particular:

- the studies,

- supplies;

- the supply of the five sets of choppers and their associated systems, as defined in article 3.1 of the CDC:

—— chopper set 1: BW1;

—— chopper set 2: BW2;

—— chopper assembly 3: BW3;

—— chopper assembly 4: PSC;

—— chopper set 5: RRM + MC;

- the supply of tools for testing, installation and transport;

- factory tests and technical inspections;

- transport and delivery to the ESS site in Lund, Sweden;

- assistance with assembly, testing and technical inspections on the ESS site;

- training of ESS staff;

- the delivery of all deliverables;

- 24 month warranty from receipt of the supply.
