Before Lucerne, the traffic flows of the national north-south axis N2 and the N14 of Zurich-Zug meet at the Rotsee junction. These overlap with regional and local destination and source traffic when passing through the city. The capacity limit has already been reached during rush hours. With the expected increase in traffic, the situation will continue to worsen. The Lucerne Bypass Bypass project solves this capacity problem.
It includes the following project parts: Expansion north with the extension of the N14 between the Rotsee junction and the Buchrain junction from 4 to 6 lanes. At the same time, in the project perimeter, complete repairs are the best. Plants carried out.

For the detailed description of services see tender documents.
