The contract has as its object the assignment of the management service of the Municipal Kennel, including sanitary kennel and shelter, located in Monopoli (BA) - locality "Contrada Torre D'Orta", the activities of custody and maintenance of the dog population, related administrative activities, veterinary assistance of animals already housed and veterinary assistance of recovered strays who need care before entering the sanitary kennel, including first aid interventions, which do not fall within the competence of the veterinary services of the ASL, in compliance with the procedures specified in the performance specifications.

Pursuant to art. 35 paragraph 4 of Legislative Decree 50/2016 below details the estimated total value of the contract:

Auction base amount subject to reduction: € 585,255.60

Options:

Possible renewal of the contract for a further 3 years: € 585,255.60

Possible technical extension: € 97.542,60

Estimated total value of the contract: € 1.268.053,80

The successful tenderer will be obliged to guarantee for the entire duration of the contract the services covered by the Special Specifications and the continuity in the performance of the activities by the outgoing manager from the date of delivery.

The execution of the service consists of the activities specified in the Special Tender Specifications and in the provision of the following services:

• care of the canine population in the structure;

• veterinary assistance to dogs guests of the structure;

• reception of citizens in the municipal kennel;

• keeping of the computerized register of the kennel, relating to dogs entering and leaving the structure;

• disposal of dead animal remains;

• planning of volunteer activities and keeping attendance register;

• participation in meetings with the municipal offices of reference to verify the progress of the activity in the structure.
