The contract has as its object the assignment of assistance and transport services for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility at the airport and related accompanying services for the duration of 48 months in order to allow the aforementioned passengers ("PRM") to move from a certain point of arrival at the airport to the aircraft (boarding) and from the aircraft to a certain point of departure from the airport (disembarkation), as detailed in the special tender specifications.

The contract consists of a single lot since pursuant to art. 51 paragraph 1 of the Procurement Code, the various services as described below must necessarily be coordinated by a single operator in order to be able to offer a complete and efficient service to PRM passengers regarding:

1. assistance and accompaniment on land side and air side

2. assistance and accompaniment with ambulift in air side

GESAP, concessionaire of Palermo International Airport, intends to entrust the assistance and transport services of passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility at the airport and related accompanying services in order to allow the aforementioned passengers ("PRM") to move from a certain point of arrival at the airport to the aircraft (boarding) and from the aircraft to a certain point of departure from the airport (disembarkation).

These points are located at the main entrances of the Terminal, as well as in the airport car parks, in order to offer the disabled passenger equal conditions of accessibility compared to other passengers, without additional costs.

The transport and assistance services to the PRM must be carried out both in the land side and air side area of the airport and will involve the performance of any activity necessary to allow the transfer of PRM passengers from the aircraft to the Passenger Terminal, or from the Terminal to the aircraft, as well as the assistance of the PRM in carrying out all the preliminary and preparatory activities for the embarkation and disembarkation of the PRM.
