The tender is for the rehabilitation of the harbour sheet pile wall in the Stromhafen Andernach. The subject of this tender is the 1st BA from Rhine km 612.090 to Rhine km 612.255 with a length of approx. 163 m.
The tender will be divided into 2 lots: Lot 1 - Embankment; Lot 2 - Square fortification.
In the existing Rhine port of Andernach, damage was found to the bank sheet pile wall of the river port. Locally, the existing bank sheet pile wall shows strong head deformations towards the Rhine. In addition, the existing sheet pile wall is unanchored as well as designed for the local conditions with a low level of integration. Due to the damage that has occurred and the dimensions of the components, the existing sheet pile wall and the immediately adjacent port area are no longer classified as stable. In order to be able to guarantee the stability and serviceability of the berths and transshipment points in the Stromhafen in the future, it is necessary to renovate the harbour sheet pile wall. The Andernach power port is located west of the port of Andernach am Rhein between Rhine km 611.732 and Rhine km 612.620. In the area between Rhine km 611.732 and 612.255 is the section to be rehabilitated. Downstream of the Rhine to Rhine km 612.620 is the "0th BA", which has already been rehabilitated with a new bank sheet pile wall. The remaining section from Rhine km 611.732 to Rhine km 612.255 is divided into construction phases (BA) one to three. The subject of this tender is the 1st BA from Rhine km 612.090 to Rhine km 612.255 with a length of approx. 163 m.
The existing bank behind the sheet pile wall is partially sloped. At the head of the sheet pile wall there is a reinforced concrete berm, which merges into an embankment secured by cast hydraulic blocks. At the head of the embankment are the foundations of a former crane runway and a power channel that has been dismantled by electrical engineering. Investigations and excavations have revealed further foundation remnants below the port areas, which are to be demolished and disposed of in the course of the measure. The fortified harbour areas start from the rear edge of the crane runway beam and border on the road "Uferstraße" in the south. The port areas are paved with an asphalt surface and corresponding substructure. The drainage of the port areas is carried out in the existing building via the embankment/bank sheet pile wall into the Rhine.
At Rhine km 612.255, a heavyweight wall adjoins the existing bank sheet pile wall. The existing embankment ends here in the existing building with a steep slope towards the heavyweight wall. The existing bank sheet pile wall of the berth is made of double planks Larssen III made of steel with a length of approx. 7 - 9 m and an upper edge at approx. +54.10 m above sea level. The bank sheet pile wall is unanchored. The upper edge of the terrain above the embankment is approx. +58.40 m and rises to the "shore road" with a transverse slope of approx. 3% to 6%. Along the bank sheet pile wall in the 1st BA there are five embankment stairs made of reinforced concrete at a distance of approx. 35 m. In addition, seven bollards with reinforced concrete foundations are integrated at the top of the embankment. Vertical ladders as well as niche bollards are not available in the inventory. A comprehensive description of the tendered service is contained in the building specification and the bill of quantities, which can be found in the tender documents. The complete fulfillment of the bill of quantities and the building specification together with all systems is a minimum requirement and as such becomes part of the contract. Start of execution: After award of the contract
