The contract consists of the supply of a newly manufactured self-propelled rubber port crane, free of quay, to be used at the port of Termini Imerese for container handling (loading and unloading) on container ships. The spreader is included in the scope of delivery. For a description of the technical characteristics of the crane, equipped with all the safety devices required by current safety regulations, please refer to the tender documentation.
By submitting the tender, the OE accepts the conditions of performance of the contract, without any reservation. The main service is the supply.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 8, paragraph 1 letter b), of Legislative Decree 76/2020, converted into law with amendment by Law 120/2020, considering the timing of the implementation of the intervention in question, under penalty of loss of funding, the reductions in procedural terms referred to in Article 60, paragraph 3 of Legislative Decree 50/2016 shall apply.

The successful bidder shall be responsible for all costs for transport, assembly, set-up of the machinery, none excluded, and any other expense necessary to ensure the commissioning of the goods in consideration of the specific purpose of use. The estimated cost of labour is € 40,000.00.
The criterion for selecting tenders is that of the most economically advantageous tender.
The estimated amount of the contract is € 3,560,655.74, plus VAT, of which € 3,550,655.74 for the starting amount of the auction and € 10,000.00 for security charges not subject to reduction. For more details, please refer to the tender documentation.
The contract in question is part of the project to strengthen the container terminal of the port of Termini Imerese, called "INTERMODAL LOGISTICS PLATFORM - STRENGTHENING CONTAINER TERMINAL - CUP: I67F21000010006" (CUP connected), referred to in the broader infrastructural intervention for the special economic zones of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "PNRR ZES - PORT OF TERMINI IMERESE. COMPLETION OF THE TER-MINI IMERESE INFRASTRUCTURE – NEW QUAY FOR LOGISTICS – CUP Master: I61B21002290005". The latter intervention is included in the Program of infrastructural interventions for the Special Economic Zones (SEZ) of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), approved by Interministerial Decree no. 492 of 03/12/2021 of the Minister of Sustainable Infrastructure and Mobility in agreement with the Minister for the South and Territorial Cohesion through which the resources allocated to the measure M5C3 – Investment 4, for a total amount financed of € 36,000,000.00. On 21/10/2022 it was signed in the relative act of obligation.
