On the grounds of the fire station at Voltairestraße 2 in Berlin Mitte, the construction of a new training rescue station is planned in the courtyard area. The new 3-storey building includes a vehicle hall, storage areas, training centre, offices and a canteen. The existing hose tower will be completely renovated, integrated into the new building and, together with the new building to be built, will form a functional unit. A passenger elevator system with 5 stops and a nominal load of 630 kg will be installed in the existing building of the hose tower. A freight elevator system with 3 stops and a nominal load of 1600 kg will be installed in the new building.
