The acquisition is the new construction of the northern daycare centre in Pasila. The contract form is a fixed-price shared contract in which the contractor for civil engineering works acts as the main contractor and, as referred to in legislation, as the main contractor, is responsible for site management responsibilities, site services and occupational safety (YSE 1998).

With this invitation to tender, the developer invites tenders for three different contracts as follows:

(1) Works (main works) to which the following two secondary works are subordinated:

2) HVAC contract (HVAC and RAU) and

3) Electrical work contract.

The target start time for the work is the beginning of March 2024. If separately agreed and weather permitting, it may be possible to start work earlier. The construction of the site as a whole must be completed, inspected and handed over to the client in an acceptable manner, and yard work completed by the end of May 2025.

According to the plan documents, the scope of the premises of the kindergarten building is 1402 gross square meters. The construction project also includes the construction of a yard area. The construction project is described in more detail in the design documents, which can be downloaded from the online storage locations indicated below.

The construction site, located in the Postipuisto area in North Pasila, is already unbuilt. The quality of the soil is demanding and challenging for construction as described in the appendix documents to this invitation to tender.

In accordance with the "Emission-free construction site green deal", the City of Helsinki aims to reduce emissions generated at construction sites. The environmental requirements are discussed in more detail in the accompanying documents to this call for tenders.

The implementation of the project complies with the general terms and conditions of the construction contract YSE 1998, with the exceptions mentioned in the other procurement documents.

Contract for HVAC works in accordance with the contract notice and the tender documents attached to it.

The HVAC contract includes three areas of work, all of which are covered by the HVAC tender:
