The aim is to obtain a complete, installed and tested web based Sample Information Management and Tracking System in order to handle various human sample materials. The system shall provide an electronic overview of all the registered bio banks. The systems will regulate access to all information related to the samples, such as consent, type of sample, analyses and standard operation procedures for different stages in the treatment process. The tracking system shall handle all information connected to the samples in the bio bank in accordance with international standards for tracking and within the framework set by Norwegian law.
