With the central state-wide mobility data platform MobiData BW, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Transport supports the provision of mobility-relevant data in order to facilitate the combination of different means of transport.

The core of the mobility data platform, which is operated by the NVBW, is the MobiData BW Integration Server, which bundles open static and dynamic mobility data from the areas of local public transport, sharing and parking and makes it available via an Application Programming Interface (API) and various standard formats. This integration server is to be reimplemented as an open integration platform.

The new integration platform to be developed should be the property of the client, run on his computers, and must be modifiable and expandable by the client as well as by third parties. In particular, the client must be technically able to filter, correct and supplement mobility data before it is disclosed to the outside world.

The new implementation is then to be expanded to include data providers from the areas of cycling and road traffic that do not require complex data integration - specifically the cycling infrastructure system RadVIS, the construction site information system BIS 2 or the construction site and event management system BEMaS, and the webcam servers from the road sector.

In later stages, systems with complex data models will also be added - such as the traffic computer center (VRZ) 3 system of the cooperative traffic control center of the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Autobahn GmbH. The addition of such complex data providers is not the subject of this tender, but should be taken into account in the conception and development of the integration platform.
