Sykehusbygg HF, on behalf of Helse Møre og Romsdal HF, invites tenders to a tender contest regarding architectural services in connection with design and engineering design for the Hospital Nordmøre og Romsdal (Sjukehuset Nordmøre og Romsdal (SNR)). The remaining consultancy services will be subject to contracting in a separate tender contest. SNR shall replace the existing hospitals in Kristiansund and Molde. The psychiatric hospital in Opdøl/Hjelset shall also be included in the new joint hospital. SNR shall meet the long-term requirement for specialist services, and be an emergency hospital for Nordmøre og Romsdal.

The gross area of the hospital is given in the Idea-stage report (enclosed) estimated to approx. 70 000 m² somatic area, approx. 6 000 m² psychiatry area, and 4 000-5 000 m² out-patients' clinic/day treatment area. A total of between 77 000 and 80 000 m² gross floor area. The project cost is between 5 500 000 000 and 5 800 000 000 NOK (including furnishing and equipment).
