Since the school half-year 2018/2019, the start of a new IT concept has been prepared at the Maria Ward Junior High School in Augsburg as a pilot school for all schools in the school of the Diocese of Augsburg. This IT concept is now to be implemented in all 42 schools of the school. Part of this IT concept is the equipping of every teacher with a convertible (2 in 1 notebook) and a port replicator as well as equipping the schools with powerful desktop PCs and monitors. The cost of the conversion or a parallel MDM solution for iOS and other operating systems would be associated with an unreasonable effort. The compatibility of the tablets with the existing equipment allows interchangeability as needed between the schools of the school among themselves.
