Development of a new extraction area in the Eich waterworks, for Mainzer Netze GmbH, TP00961

Lot 5 - Well construction

The Eich waterworks extraction area is to be extended by two bank filtrate wells BG 10 and 11. The two wells will be located in a designated protection zone II, which has not yet been used for water extraction. The well sites are located in the so-called Eicher Rheinknie in the area between the Rhine, landesstraße L 440 and the flood protection dike (at the same time district road) in an intensively used agricultural area. The construction site is located behind a front dike, which secures up to about HQ10.

The wells are to be drilled in the DN 600 extension with a final diameter of approx. 1,200 mm. Based on the results of the preliminary exploration, both planned wells will not be expanded into perfect wells, but will be drilled about 65 or 74 m deep.

Furthermore, the new drilling of the extraction wells BG 4 and BG 5 as a replacement well for the existing wells within the protection zone I of these wells (order level 2) is requested. The fountain rooms are to be laid out underground. The control equipment is not part of this tender.
